Arrest made in Bishop for Vandalism Spree

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, personnel from the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Bishop Police Department, responded to a reported disturbance on North Barlow Lane in
Bishop. During the investigation, deputies developed probable cause to arrest a 15-year-old Bishop resident on charges including felony vandalism.

This arrest is connected to a series of recent vandalism incidents within the City of Bishop and surrounding areas in the county, where a BB gun was reportedly used to damage vehicle windows.
Additionally, two other adult suspects have been identified in connection with these incidents and are pending criminal charges.
