Heat is the dominant headline this week (what else is new?). Hot, with highs running in the 100° – 102° range thru Friday in Bishop. So this would be in the Moderate HeatRisk territory. All due to that long standing ridge of high pressure building back into our area. As the week progresses, there will be subtle changes, as an upper trough drops into the PACNW. This will lead to a gradual drop in temperatures for the weekend…DMATT
