Area Forecast Discussion – Tue Jul 16 2024

Isolated to scattered t-storms again today, then I expect a drying trend as the week progresses. All due to a trough situated over the PACNW and a ridge to our East bringing on a drier SW flow. Most of the week temps will stay moderated, to slightly above normal. But by Friday, the 4-Corners ridge amplifiers, driving temps up a few degrees. Also some Monsoonal moisture should creep back into our area, thru the weekend…DMATT
