Area Forecast Discussion – Mon Jun 17 2024
A reprieve from the heat started Fathers Day, which saw a shift in our hot weather pattern. All due to a stout, dry cold front, from a system centered over Vancouver Island, dropping south down near our Forecast Area. Temperatures should drop to near seasonal norms today thru Thursday. This front also brings windy conditions to the area today. Catch this cool weather while you can, as that front weakens, in the wake of high pressure taking its place. So it’s back to the low 100s in Bishop Friday into the weekend…DMATT
