Area Forecast Discussion – Mon Jan 29 2023
Building high pressure over the Sierra and W. Nevada, will bring light winds, dry conditions and mild temperature for the next few days. All this won’t last long, as a splitting (suprise suprise) storm system will bring light snow chances to our area. Right now it does look like Mammoth is slightly more favored than Tahoe. Look for 10 – 15 inches at Main and 20 inches over Mammoth Summit, Wednesday thru the Friday, above 7,500 feet, lowering to 5,000 feet by Friday. More storms are likely over the weekend, so hang in there for more updates…DMATT
