Windy ridge tops yesterday ahead of a weather system overnight into today. Pretty cold system with Mammoth Main picking up 6 – 10 inches of new snow and the Owens Valley seeing snow showers. Quite chilly NW winds on Thursday before another cold system moves on later Friday into the weekend. This one will be the coldest we’ve seen in sometime, with cold temperatures and high winds. Oh yeah, did I also say snow. The Owens Valley floor should see snow levels down to about 2,500 – 3,000 feet. And Mammoth Main 4 – 7 inches and the Summit 8 – 10 inches…DMATT
