This week we will see a couple of cut-off lows bringing snowy weather to our area, with limited snowfall possible. Snow levels look like 7,500 – 8,000 feet, with light precipitation (off / on). There is still a lot of model disagreement on precipitation amounts, but here goes. Estimates then for snow amounts Monday thru Thursday, Main Lodge 7 – 11 inches and Summit 12 – 16 inches. These are certainly not big totals, but we’ll take it anyway. The Owens Valley should have a 30% – 50% chance of rain / snow thru Thursday…DMATT
