On November 30, 2023 the Bishop Union high school varsity girls soccer team play their first regular season game, at home, against  Frazier Mountain high school. The final score was 13 to 0 in favor of the lady Broncos.

At the end of the first half the score was 6 to 0. The lady Broncos came out in the second half and scored an additional seven goals. The defense stood strong and allowed no shots on goal.

The goals were divided amongst eight different players. Senior Jaden Davis scored three goals and had one assist, Junior Ellie Crall scored two goals, freshman Kylie Acree had one goal one assist, sophomore Jillian Veenker had one goal, junior Alyssa Buchholz and team captain scored two goals and had four assist, Senior Brooklyn Braaten score one goal and had three assist, freshman Madyn Weller had one assist, sophomore Riley Van Nest had one goal, and freshman Scarlett Buccholz scored two goals.

A big congratulations to Gabby Veenker and Alyssa Buchholz for becoming the Lady Broncos team‘s captains and leading the team to their first regular season victory.

The Bishop Broncos want to think the Frasier Mountain Falcons for the great sportsmanship and wishing the best of luck through this year’s season
