Yesterday into today, light snow fell in Mammoth, 1 – 3 inches at the Main and 3 – 5 inches over the Summit. The system that brought that snow was not particularly intense, but plenty of wind came with this package in Mammoth with winds 30 – 40 mph G 60. Later today those winds calm down (in the 30 mph range) with some leftover snow showers (30%) in Mammoth. All this leading to a dry and midler period Wednesday into the upcoming weekend, for both the Owens Valley and Mammoth…DMATT
