Sharyle Lynn Jarvis 65 of Bishop, CA, went with our Lord and Savior to reside in Heaven with her Father Philip L Rex, Mother Joan L Rex and, eldest Brother Steven P Rex on Oct 25 2023, after a short battle with cancer.

Sharyle was born and raised in Southern California and received an AA degree in accounting. She moved to Bishop in the late 80’s and worked for a local tax service. Her Father Phil was a Director for Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association and her Mother Joan was a Teacher at Bishop Elementary.

Sharyle’s Father passed away in Oct 1995 and Sharyle took on the responsibility to take care of her Mother. When Sharyle’s Mother retired, she moved with her to Idaho.  Sharyle’s Mother passed away in Oct 2013. Her mother’s death was devastating to Sharyle and she struggled for she had lost her purpose.  It was when Sharyle moved back to Bishop that she finally started to heal.

Sharyle was active in the community and volunteered during Mule Days and at the Bishop Senior Center. Sharyle loved the Bishop Senior Center and she was very happy to be of service.

Sharyle is survived by her Older Brother Scott Rex his wife Chere Rex, Younger Brother Kevin Rex his wife Julie Rex, Son Jason Jarvis his wife Debbie Jarvis, 4 Grandchildren, 3 Nephews and, 2 Nieces.

The Family would like to Thank the following Organizations.  St. Timothy’s, City of Hope, Northern Inyo Hospital, IMACA and Easter Sierra Cancer Alliance.

Our hearts are heavy, however the outpouring of the community of Bishop that Loved Sharyle has blessed our hearts and we are very grateful for the support we have received. The community’s support has been a source of comfort during this difficult time.

Sharyle will be buried alongside her Father and Mother at the E Line Cemetery at a date to be
determined.
