The slow start to the warm up will kick in Friday thru weekend. Why? An upper level ridge builds into the Western States. So by Saturday we will see 83° in Bishop. So besides some gusty winds (30 – 40 mph) along the Sierra Crest, pleasant weather is in store for us. Precipitation chances are nil as that ridge packs a 585 – 589 dm punch, keeping away any low pressure systems…DMATT

Bishop: 76 / 41

Mammoth Lakes: 61 / 40

Independence: 78 / 53
Lone Pine: 75 / 55
Ridgecrest: 86 / 56

Death Valley: 98 / 73

Thank you for the weather report, I plan on coming to Bishop this weekend and now I feel it will be a good trip.
