LADWP and the Inyo County Office of Education Double the Total Career and Technical Education Scholarship Amount to $20,000 for 2023 Scholarship Winners.

June 12, 2023 (Inyo County, CA) – For the fourth consecutive year, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) partnered with the Inyo County Office of Education (ICOE) on the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship for graduating high school students in Inyo County. To help with the increasing costs of educational materials, tools, and tuition, LADWP and ICOE increased the scholarship program amount from $10,000 to $20,000, awarding five recipients each a $4,000 scholarship.

The 2023 winners are:

Bishop Union High School: Albert Cano, Corbin Houston, Cade McMurry

Palisade Glacier High School: Osmany Hernandez

Lone Pine High School: Tristan Ashley
