The Bishop Paiute Tribe’s Environmental Management Office, in partnership with
Owens Valley Paiute-Shoshone Cultural Center and the Owens Valley Indian Water
Commission, will be hosting the Bishop Paiute Tribe’s Earth Day and Spring Market
on Saturday April 22nd from 8am-2:30pm.
The event starts with a community clean up at 8 am. Come grab free continental
breakfast (first come, first serve), and head out on foot to pick up trash on the
Reservation until 10:30am after which participants can claim prizes from
Community Clean-Up Raffle.
The main event runs from 10:30am-2:30pm. Local artisans and vendors will be
selling various items including crafts and food. There will be educational
information tables on environmental themes, hands-on activities for kids, games
and more! The event will feature live local music.
New this year will be a swap meet and upcycle contest. Please email
