Wham Bang, big AR blasted thru yesterday, with rain in the Owens Valley and feet of snow over Mammoth. Quite windy in places, with high gusts near 50 mph in the Owens Valley. Today another substantial system keeps those bands of snow going for Mammoth, with another 15 – 20 inches of snow possible. Friday is a short break (I can’t rule out isolated showers in some areas), so if you are traveling, it looks to be your best bet. Why? Because the march of Winter storms continues, Saturday / Sunday then Monday / Tuesday. Stay tuned and remember, it’s never too early to consider alternate travel plans…DMATT
