Campgrounds are irrelevant, it’s a complete free for all out there.
People are camping along side of the road with illegal campfires and bbq’s, feces and toilet paper improperly buried.
Campgrounds are nothing more than a better parking space for people who visit our area and plan on camping.

I heard of tourists “camping” in their 5th wheels on neighborhood streets,apparently the Bridgeport area is a total clogged-up mess,
Tourists coming up here,speeding through the towns to get to where they are going,and then camping where they want to and doing as they please once they’re here.
And no rules being enforced or followed to speak of.
On a facebook site a tourist posted a video,a loud group of drunk guys in a single campsite,I slow-moed it and counted 5 trucks and cars parked and 7 tents pitched, in a single limit campsite,thanking the Lord I wasn’t one of the nearby campers with that going on
The 7 day a week invasion continues,with no end in sight.
Can you only imagine what ski season and the Mammoth-June Lake area is going to bring ?
…and the speeding traffic through our towns getting there ?
Bridgeport is not a mess. I hike, bike, run all over the back country. Usually I’m by myself, no one else around.
