(MONO COUNTY, CA, July 08, 2020)
Yesterday, Mono County Administrative Officer Bob Lawton announced that Public Health Director Sandra Pearce is moving on from her position with Mono County, and Lynda Salcido has been retained to serve as Interim Director of Public Health.
A long-term county employee, Ms. Salcido previously served Mono County for more than 20 years, including 15 years as Public Health Director.
“Ms. Salcido’s breadth and depth of Public Health knowledge will guide us as we continue serving our residents, and in maintaining Mono County’s critical operations during the challenges ahead,” stated CAO Lawton.
A nationwide recruitment effort is being organized to fill the position permanently.

If Mono County treated their employees better, maybe they could retain staff. Lynda is an awesome wonderful, caring person. MC is lucky she was willing. I worked with her and for MC for over 16 years. I ran with barely my life. Good luck Lynda
