Mono Lake Ranger District

Roads open: Monitor Pass (Hwy 89), Sonora Pass (Hwy 108), Tioga Pass (Hwy 120 w), Saddlebag Lake Rd., Hwy 120 E (Benton), Bodie (Hwy 270) Lundy Canyon June Lake Loop, Parker Lake Rd.

Campgrounds open: Lundy Canyon, Lower Lee Vining (est. closing 10/28), Silver Lake (est. closing 11/4), Glass Creek (est. closing 10/31).

Campgrounds closed: Upper and Lower Deadman, Hartley Springs, Big Springs, Obsidian Flat, Big Bend, Aerie Crag, Gull Lake, June Lake, Oh Ridge, Reversed Creek, Ellery Lake, Junction, Moraine, Tioga Lake, Sawmill Walk-in, Saddlebag Lake, and Saddlebag Lake Group Camp, Aspen Grove

The Mono Basin Visitor Center is closed due to a wasp infestation.

Mammoth Ranger District

Roads open: Lakes Basin Rd., Old Mammoth Rd. to Lakes Basin, Inyo Craters, Mammoth Creek, Mammoth Scenic Loop, Laurel Canyon.

Closed: Reds Meadow Rd.

Campgrounds open: Mammoth Mtn. RV Park (private, year round), New Shady Rest (est. closing 11/4), Crowley Lake (BLM), Convict Lake (est. closing 10/29).

Campgrounds closed: Old Shady Rest, Sherwin Creek, Pine Glen Family/Group, Twin Lakes, Lake Mary, Lake George, Pine City, Coldwater, Agnew Meadows Horse, Agnew Meadows Group, Agnew Meadows Family, Upper Soda Springs, Pumice Flat, Reds Meadow, Devils Postpile, Browns Owens River

The Mammoth Welcome Center is open daily 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Devils Postpile Ranger Station is closed for the season.

White Mountain Ranger District

CARMA restoration area closure.  Respect the restoration efforts. Do not travel w/motorized vehicles beyond closed gates or park off of established roadways where vegetative seeding has occurred.

Roads open: McGee Creek Rd., Rock Creek Rd., Buttermilk Rd., North Lake Rd., Hwy 168 to Lake Sabrina, South Lake Rd., Big Pine Canyon (Glacier Lodge) Rd., White Mt. Rd. is clear to the Barcroft gate, Silver Canyon Rd., Wyman Canyon Rd.

Campgrounds open: McGee (est. closing 10/29), Tuff (est. closing 10/29), French Camp (est. closing 10/29), Mosquito Flat Backpacker, Bitterbrush (transitions to winter ops 10/30), Four Jeffrey (est. closing 10/30), Forks (est. closing 10/30), Goodale (BLM), Grandview (no water, no trash service, firewood is limited), Pleasant Valley Pit (BLM), Pleasant Valley (County).

Campground closed: Holiday (transitioning to winter ops 11/1), Rock Creek Lake Group Campground, Rock Creek, East Fork, Pine Grove, Iris Meadow, Big Meadow, Aspen Group, Palisade Group, Horton Creek (BLM), Big Trees, Bishop Park, Intake 2, Bishop Park Group, Willow, North Lake, Sabrina, Table Mountain Group, Mt. Glen, Cedar Flat Group, Big Pine Creek, Sage Flat, Clyde Glacier Group Camp, Palisade Glacier Group Camp.

The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest Visitor Center is open daily 10:00 am -5:00 pm. Weather permitting, the visitor center will remain open through 10/28.

The White Mountain Ranger Station Visitor Center is open seven days a week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, closed for lunch (noon- 1:00 pm).

Mt Whitney Ranger District:

Roads open: Onion Valley Rd., Horseshoe Meadow Rd., Whitney Portal Rd., Foothill Rd., Division Creek.

Campgrounds open: Cottonwood Lakes/Pass, Horseshoe Meadow Equestrian, Whitney Portal (est. closing 10/30), Onion Valley (no water, est. closing 10/30), Boulder Creek RV Resort, Diaz Lake (County), Lone Pine Campground (transitions to winter ops 11/1), Grays Meadow (transitions to winter ops 11/1), Independence Creek (County), Portagee Joe (County), Tuttle Creek (BLM).

The Eastern Sierra Visitor Center in Lone Pine is open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Inyo National Forest is not in Fire Restrictions for fire hazard.
