Mammoth Lakes, CA – On August 17, 2017, the Mammoth Lakes Police Department and the Mono County Investigative Unit (MCIU) executed a search warrant for child endangerment in the 100 block of Mono Street.

During the course of the search, officers located items in the garage of the home that were consistent with equipment that was being used to illegally convert a controlled substance by chemical extraction.

These items included beakers, utensils, and chemicals. The equipment was subsequently dismantled to ensure there was no danger to the community.

An occupant of the residence, Marisa Rose Graef, was arrested.

Graef was transported to the Mono County Jail and booked on the following charges: 1 felony count of 1203.2 PC: Probation Violation; 1 misdemeanor count of 11364(A) – Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia; 1 felony count of 11379.4 HS – Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance; 1 misdemeanor count of 273(A) PC – Child Endangerment; 1 misdemeanor count of 11350(A) HS – Possession of a Controlled Substance; 1 misdemeanor count of 11377(A) HS – Possession of a Controlled Substance
