This evening event comes at a time when our nation’s public lands and national monuments are under unprecedented assault. Special protected public lands belonging to all Americans face an uncertain future in California and across the nation. Hundreds of thousands of acres of popular recreation areas, critically important federal wildlife habitats and valuable cultural resources are at risk.
The public is invited to this special presentation sponsored to learn more about what’s at stake and how outdoor folks and others who use and love our nation’s public lands can stand up for their continued protection. There’ll be a beautiful slide presentation of California’s threatened wildlands. Attendees will enjoy an evening of appetizers, refreshments and great company and learn how to make their voices heard in support of our public lands.

…..BobM…..if you want to see how dirt-bikers and ORV’ers “respect the land”,go take a trip down South to the Antelope Valley and see what they’ve done to it, dating back to the middle-70’s untill now, when they were allowed access..
The Mojave desert National Monument doesn’t even meet the requirements for establishment of a monument. Just another gift from Obama to Feinstein/Boxer. BobK
unprecedented assault.. how dramatic. Are dirt bikers and snowmobiles going to get access from Monuments For All?
