Totaly agree T. Our local youth are the future and we should never miss an opportunity to nuture and allow them to flourish and to become successful . It would be something special to be a young part time paid intern at Cal Trans, DWP, SCE , Inyo National Forest ,BLM , Inyo County , in our Inyo County Schools or wherever, working and learning with an engineer, a teacher ,an administrator or with some of the hands on folks out in field . What ever happened to Industrial Arts and work experience in the schools of California and what ever happened to apprentice positions in the trades . Youth of today only seem to fall into the future by hook or crook and sorry to say by a favored family connections . Every future , every job should be accessible equally and why can’t there be more job opportunities than there are young folks to fill those posititons. If we want to grow this nation, this economy and leave a righteous footprint from our time on this earth , then we need to stoke and fuel the fires and dreams of our youth. How else can we save the planet and once again revive the American dream?
Agreed Trouble! Education is our best tool and our most powerful weapon.
Kudos to Brown’s
This is good example of what I believe our local leaders should be focused on . Really trying to help our local youth succeed in their future.
I love it when I agree with Trouble.
