Bishop blanks Yerington, 58-0 BISHOP, Calif. — Bishop Union returned the opening kickoff for a tuchdown and never looked back defeating Yerington 58-0. Devaun Mitchell scored three touchdowns for Bishop, including an 89-yard kickoff return for the game’s opening score. Mitchell also returned an interception for a touchdown and caught a touchdown pass from Dom Barlow. Bishop’s defense added two more interception returns for touchdowns. Hunter Dailey and Dom Barlow each recorded a pick six. Tosa Schults also intercepted a pass for Bishop. Middle linebacker Dom Dondero recorded a sack, forced a fumble and recorded a safety. Marcus Manuelito had three tackles for loss, a sack and two quarterback hurries. On offense, Brady Johnson scored on an 11-yard run, while Wyatt Miears added a rushing touchdown. Miears led Bishop with 108 rushing yards on three carries. Bishop will return home Friday to host Mission Prep of San Luis Obispo. complete game stats are attached.
