Tonight the Bishop City Council presented two proclamations to Crossroads Recovery Center.
The first recognizes September 2026 as National Recovery Month, honoring the courage of individuals in recovery and the people and organizations who support them. The second recognizes August 31, 2026 as International Overdose Awareness Day, remembering those lost to overdose and calling for continued prevention, education, treatment, and access to lifesaving resources.
Both proclamations highlight the importance of compassion, reducing stigma, and supporting recovery in our community.
