BISHOP, CA –
Tonight the Bishop City Council presented a proclamation honoring the life and service of Judd Alan Symons.
Judd was raised in Bishop, started as a teenage sheriff cadet, became a paramedic, and later co-founded Symons Ambulance. For roughly 35 years he and his family provided emergency medical services across the Owens Valley, donated countless hours of standby coverage at local events, trained new EMTs, and served as a flight and ground medic with Sierra Life Flight.
His family accepted the proclamation on his behalf. The Council recognized his skill, compassion, and lifelong dedication to the community.

A well-deserved honor for a man who touched many lives in Bishop and the Owens Valley.
