Toiyabe Indian Health Project 16th Annual Walk For Life

Suicide remains a significant public health challenge for our communities. Current rates are higher among Native American populations than any other racial or ethnic group in the United States. Toiyabe hopes to reduce stigma, help recognize warning signs, create connections, and support people affected by suicide loss.

Schedule

  • 6:00 AM: Check-in

  • 6:30 AM: Presenter

  • 6:50 AM: Prayer

  • 7:00 AM: Walk begins

Tips & Info

  • Please dress accordingly in comfortable clothing.

  • Wear good walking shoes.

  • Sunscreen and hats are recommended.

  • Beverages will be provided.
