Synopsis – THU AUG 20 2026

Our weather pattern continues to be dominated by a ridge of high pressure over the Desert SW. By Friday the ridge shifts over the 4-Corners area, along with a weak trough moving onto the CA coast. These actions will lead to an increase in Monsoon moisture over our area. I am still expecting a 10% – 30% chance of t-storms Saturday and Sunday. A gradual cooling trend starts the weekend as well…DMATT
