Synopsis – WED AUG 19 2026

I am still monitoring the possibility of low grade (isolated to scattered) Monsoon moisture, returning late week or this weekend. All brought to you by a gradual Eastward shift of our ridge to a position over 4-Corners. Along with this we have an approaching trough off the coast. Right now I would say a 20% – 30% chance of t-storms (particularly over higher terrain) in the Eastern Sierra. Updates on this tomorrow…DMATT
