Synopsis – TUE AUG 11 2026

Our multi- day heat wave is coming to an end, as our big ridge retreats to a position near 4-Corners. Wednesday thru Thursday, deeper moisture will begin to flow into our area, with PWs near 1.0″, as a low off the coast provides additional forcing. Stronger storms look likely over high terrain. With cloud cover and moisture, temps go down to near normal for this time of year. By the end of this week into the weekend, t-storm action begins to decrease…DMATT
