Synopsis – MON AUG 10 2026

Our significant heat is on the wane. As this week progresses, we will see a more persistent monsoon pattern, as our ridge of high pressure becomes more centered over 4-Corners. Along with this low pressure continues to deepen along the West Coast. This will allow a more favorable moisture tap into Inyo and Mono County. This pattern will also bring down our hot temps. So by Thursday Bishop is looking at a daytime high of only 89°. More updates on this Monsoon pattern tomorrow…DMATT
