Synopsis – FRI AUG 07 2026

Prolonged heat will take us into the weekend, including patchy smoke. Then the position of high pressure will allow modest Monsoon moisture to creep into our area, particularly over Mono County. So by Sunday and early next week, high temps should begin to ease up a bit (a few degress) as additional moisture moves into our area. We really are looking at only a 20% – 30%% chance here, but we will take what we can get…DMATT
