Synopsis – FRI JUL 10 2026

Breezy winds will continue elevated fire weather concerns. Along with that, increasing temps will bring locally Major Heat Risk conditions to our area. But next week, our pattern begins to shift, as high pressure moves closer to the 4-Corners Area. This will set up a rather deep Southerly flow and bring on chances of t-storms along the Sierra Crest in Mono and Mineral Counties. Those storms may move off higher terrain and migrate down into the valleys. Cloud cover and atmospheric moisture will help reduce temps and bring some heat relief to the Owens Valley…DMATT
