​Danielle M. Sexton, Inyo County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters, would like to inform the public that there are several local positions that will be consolidated with the November General Election on November 3, 2026, in the following districts. Qualified candidates must be a registered voter and live within the district boundary which they are filing.

​The filing period for these positions is from 7/13/2026 through 8/07/2026.

​Forms will be available beginning July 13, 2026 at the Bishop City Hall for Municipal candidates, and at the Inyo County Elections Office for all other contests. Please Contact the Inyo County Elections Office if you have any questions or would like additional information at 760-878-0224.

​In the event there are no nominees or an insufficient number of nominees for the office and a petition for an election is not filed with the elections official within the time period prescribed, appointment to each elective office will be made as set by Elections Code § 10515.
