Synopsis – THU JUN 25 2026

Temps dip a few degrees today and Friday, but still remain seasonably warm. Then quite a pattern change happens this weekend. An unusually strong trough sweeps South Eastward into the NW US by Friday, with H5 height dropping from 594 to 589 dm by Sunday. This means we could actually be below normal by some ~10 degresson Sunday Also the main forecast hazard over the weekend, we be Critical Fire Weather concerns with windy conditions in place…MATT
