When thunder roars, go indoors!

​🥾 Check the forecast before heading outdoors. Consider postponing activities if thunderstorms are expected.

​📱 Be sure to have a way to receive weather alerts, such as a mobile phone.

​🏠 If a thunderstorm is in the area move to a substantial building or hard-topped metal vehicle.

​⚡ Avoid using corded electronic devices and stay away from plumbing — lightning can travel through these!
