Synopsis – MON MAY 18 2026

After a nice day on Saturday, the gusty North winds showed up on Sunday, with a high Wind Warning in effect. All due to an unseasonably strong storm system with a sharp temperature gradient at 850 mb. Thankfully those winds will drop off today, as that system exits the area. After a chilly Sunday, temps then begin to climb back to normal values for the rest of this week. So by Friday it will be ~89° in Bishop, as weak high pressure builds in…DMATT
