Synopsis – FRI MAY 15 2026

Water Vapor Imagery shows clear skies and near or slightly above normal temps today, with dry conditions. Then over the weekend another 500 mb weak, elongated trough makes its way into the Northern Great Basin and Interior West. Expect a nice cool down Sunday thru Monday, with breezy weather. A continuation of dry weather, with heights gradually increasing to 580 dm by next Tuesday, as high pressure off the West Coast makes its presence felt….DMATT
