Bishop Varsity Softball put on an offensive clinic this past Friday, April 24th, traveling to Frazier Mountain and returning home with a commanding 20-8 victory! With this win, the Broncos improve to 7-3 in league play.

🧱 DEFENSIVE GEMS

The defense came up huge in high-pressure moments:

The Double Play: The Broncos executed a perfect “around-the-horn” double play to escape the 3rd inning—Sadie Mairs (3B) to Faye Spoonhunter (2B) to Laila Beall (1B).
The Clutch Catch: With the bases loaded in the 6th, Azul Aranzubia made a spectacular grab in centerfield to kill a Frazier Mt. rally.

🥎 IN THE CIRCLE

Ginger Lowden went the distance through 6 innings, racking up 7 strikeouts to keep the lead intact.
Sadie Mairs entered in the 7th to shut the door, allowing no runs and adding a strikeout to finish the game.
