Synopsis – THU APR 16 2026

A change in the weather pattern arrives today, as the next system off the coast of British Columbia, dives into the Great Basin. This system will affect mostly points to our North (Reno Metro area and the inner-basin and range). So our primary concern will be Southwesterly post frontal winds, particularly in places like Independence and Mammoth. Cooler Friday, then things settle down and warm up thru next Monday.
