The Eastern Sierra Cancer Alliance marked its 25th year of supporting individuals facing cancer by hosting its Spring Colorectal Cancer Awareness 5K at Mill Pond Park just outside Bishop, drawing a strong and spirited turnout from the community. Participants and supporters gathered under near-perfect weather conditions, creating an uplifting atmosphere centered on awareness, remembrance, and hope. Leading the pack was Dan Yarborough, who crossed the finish line in first place. The event proved to be a successful fundraiser, filled with energy, connection, and a shared commitment to supporting those impacted by cancer.
