Following a recent webinar with the National Weather Service Las Vegas, forecasters outlined two incoming weather systems expected to affect the region this week.
The first system is tracking primarily toward the San Bernardino area, where strong winds will be the main concern today.
A second system arriving later will bring moderate winds to Inyo County. While breezy to windy conditions are expected to persist. Impacts locally are expected to be limited, with little to no meaningful precipitation anticipated for valley or mountain locations.
Temperatures will trend slightly cooler before warming again next weekend. Overall, dry conditions are expected to dominate through the week, with any minimal moisture chances confined to higher elevations.
