Inyo County Invites Public to Participate in EV Charging Infrastructure Plan Meeting
Bishop, CA – Inyo County is hosting the second public meeting for its Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure Plan, inviting residents, business owners, and community partners to help shape the future of EV charging in the region.
The meeting will take place:
Date/Time: Wednesday, September 24, 2025 | 5:30 PM
Location: Inyo County COB (County Office Building), Conference Room 232, Bishop, CA
This planning effort is designed to expand access to EV charging stations, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support California’s transition to clean transportation. The meeting will provide updates on the County’s EV Charging Plan and give the public an opportunity to provide feedback on proposed charging station locations and other project elements.
Community input is critical in identifying the best sites for future charging stations, ensuring they serve both residents and visitors across Inyo County.
In addition to the public meeting, Inyo County is gathering feedback through an interactive online map, where participants can suggest potential charging station sites. The map will be open for public comment until October 31, 2025, and is available at: https://dks-engage.com/inyo-evplan
