On Tuesday, the Mono County Board of Supervisors elected Supervisor Bob Gardner (District 3) to serve as 2022 Chair, taking the reins from Supervisor Jennifer Kreitz (District 1), who was recognized for her service during an extremely challenging year. Chair Gardner immediately assumed the role, which will run through the year.
“I am honored to have been elected by my colleagues to serve in this capacity, and am optimistic about the year ahead,” stated Chair Gardner. “It has been a challenging couple of years, and I remain dedicated to the health and safety of our residents and visitors, and committed to aggressively pursuing the county’s priorities.”
Supervisor Rhonda Duggan (District 2) was elected to serve as 2022 Vice Chair, and Supervisor John Peters (District 4) was elected to serve as 2022 Chair Pro-Tem. Huh. Are these the same people who just gave themselves the 27% pay raise? Now just who is up for reelection?
And Supervisor Pickleball isn’t seeking re-election!!! Spend more time on your sport, and less time trying to tell people what to do. Jennifer did a great job, probably has the biggest B’s on that board!
