On June 17, the Mammoth Lakes Town Council approved a Business Assistance Program to provide grants to small businesses adversely affected by COVID-19. Investing Town funds into small, local businesses serves an important governmental purpose of providing much needed economic relief during these unpreceded times.
The Town’s primary goals with the Business Assistance Program are to retain jobs, preserve active, tenanted commercial spaces, prevent blight in the Town’s commercial sectors, and assist in sustaining the local economy.
The Town has completed three (3) rounds of funding for the Program which has resulted in a total award of $294,500. Round 3 recipients include:
- Base Camp Café
- Bluebird Imaging
- Healing Arts Centre
- Lake Mary Marina/Barrett LLC
- Lynch Hospitality Services
- Mammoth Creek Inn
- Mammoth Mountain Reservations
- Mountain Living
- Smoketree Massage & Apothecary
- The Sierra Light Gallery
The Town does not have any additional funding for this program, any future programs or funding opportunities will be broadcasted as a Public Service Announcement.
